Klára Smitková is joining as our new Office Manager while Müberra Dinler is our new postdoctoral researcher who focuses on China and Russia's support of stigmatized actors in the Middle East. KLÁRA SMITKOVÁ
Klára Smitková is an event and office manager at Peace Research Center Prague and a Ph.D. student of Area Studies at the Institute of International Studies, Charles University. Additionally, she is also the co-founder and administrator of C4DHI (Centre for Digital Humanities Integration) at the same institute.
In her dissertation thesis, Klára examines the multifaceted nostalgia for the former communist regime of Nicolae Ceausescu in contemporary Romania. Generally, she is interested in the communist past and post-communist transformation in Central and Eastern Europe, contested narratives and new research methods in digital humanities.
Müberra Dinler
Müberra Dinler is a postdoctoral researcher at Peace Research Center Prague and the Institute of International Studies, Charles University.
In her research, Müberra Dinler focuses on International Political Sociology, with a special interest on stigma in world politics in the context of the Middle East. She is also currently working on her postdoctoral project about China and Russia's support of stigmatized actors in the Middle East, granted by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye under the Tübitak 2219 International Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Program.
